What is the Nervous System?

Your nervous system is your body’s communication and safety system.

It’s constantly scanning your internal and external world and asking one simple question:

“Am I safe right now?”

Based on that answer, it tells your body how to respond — whether to rest, digest, focus, heal… or protect and survive.

What Is the Nervous System Responsible For?

How Does the Nervous System Become Dysregulated?

  • Emotional suppression or people-pleasing

  • Overworking, under-resting

  • Inconsistent sleep or blood sugar swings

What Happens When the Nervous System Is Dysregulated?
